SAFIPORT Derince Container Terminal STS Crane Rails Installation Phase-2

The Phase-2 works started on April 28, 2018 and the remaining 450 meters (2 x 225 m) of the 900 m line in total was completed on 30.05.2019.
Within the scope of these processes:
After the rail channel ground preparation (chipping) and cleaning works, the steel plates laying has started.
The rails were lined up on the edge of the channel and prepared for Aluminothermite welding.

Following the elevation controls of the steel plates, the rail, which became one piece with thermite welds, started to be lowered into the rail channel and the rail was fixed with clips.
