APMT's Petlim Aliaga Container Terminal's first phase STS rail installation started in July 2015:
During this project, 118 steel soleplates manufactured by Yalco has been installed.
Total of 58 A120 Aluminothermite rail weldings are completed.
Following each weld, shearing by hyraulic weld trimmer is done and the weld made ready for grinding:
After the rough and fine grindings, the rails are lowered to the channel and installed on the soleplates following vertical/horizontal rail alignment:
688 m of A120 STS crane rail installation is completed by September 2015.
