The STS rails installation of the last 700 meters (350 x 2) section of the APMT Pet-Lim Aliağa Container Terminal Phase-2 started in mid-May.

In this context, 122 galvanized baseplates, which were previously manufactured by Yalco, were placed in their places and their elevations were adjusted.

A total of 60 A120 Aluminothermite welds were made, and then the welds were stripped using a hydraulic scraper and made ready for grinding.

After the fine grindings, the welds were UT Inspected and the rails were lowered into the channel and installed.

By installing the last 700 meters (350 x 2) of A120 Rails on the dock, the total STS rail system of the port has been completed.
